Abstract
The SpacE Exploration Development Systems (SEEDS) postgraduate International Master program provides young engineers and scientists with an opportunity to prepare for Europe’s future in space, including human and robotic exploration. Initially conceived by Politecnico di Torino and Thales Alenia Space-Italy in 2005, the program now includes three academic partners (Politecnico di Torino, Italy; ISAE-Supaero, France; and University of Leicester, UK) all of whom have a long heritage of space activities at industrial and academic level. In addition, there is significant industry and agency involvement, through the participation of Thales Alenia Space Italy and ESA-ESTEC in the program.
