Abstract
This work focuses on unveiling and estimating human pilot's mental states involved in the mission to enhance Human-UAVs interaction. It presents a preliminary study designed to ascertain the validity of a protocol to elicit two mental workload levels using subjective and behavioral measures. The obtained results showed that the experiment protocol is able to elicit two levels of workload in a controlled and repetitive manner.
