Abstract
In this work, we have synthesized precursor gels of copper molybdate with various chelating agents (glycine, polyacrylic acid, citric acid). After heating at adequate temperatures, the obtained precursors led to the pure phase α-CuMoO4, whose morphology and grain size depend on the chemical nature of the chelating agent used.
