Abstract
This article shows how a FEM tool can be used to design an active control structure. Two cases of a metalical structure with piezoelectric patches are studied. All the equivalent electromechanical parameters of the structures are calculated with only one modal analysis. A compact model can be deduced and the potentiel of the active structure can be computed.
