Abstract
This paper proposes a new methodological approach for a better understanding of the needs of elderly people and the use of the technology in an ambient digital environment. This methodology is based on the implementation of a multidimensional observation tool coupling mixing ethnographic observation of actions and interviews with a multitechnological infrastructure in a Living Lab. Some preliminary results are presented with the participation of 14 seniors.
