Abstract
Powders play a major role in modern industrial activity, a role further increased by the development of nanomaterials and especially of nanoparticles. In this Editorial, Guest Editors Brigitte Caussat and Constantin Vahlas give an overview of the role played by CVD in the synthesis and functionalization of powder materials and introduce the papers in this Special Issue reporting on the current state of the art.
